Embed a YouTube Video to a Docs article

If you wish to include a YouTube video in your HelpSpace article, simply click on Embed → Video and paste the full YouTube URL.

Short link

We would like to point out that the short link format (https://youtu.be/xxxxxxxxx) is not supported.

To resolve the issue, we suggest the following workaround:

1. Please enter the URL of the video into your browser: https://youtu.be/xxxxxxxxx.

2. YouTube will automatically convert the URL to the full format, which you can then copy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxx

3. Please paste the URL into the “embed video function” in HelpSpace. This should resolve the issue and allow you to play the video.

Video start time

If you'd like the video to start at a specific time, simply add '?start=seconds' to the end of the full URL, for example: https://www.youtube.com/embed/COzh1yGWVaY?start=30
