Article versioning helps you keep track of all changes—clearly, securely, and without losing any important edits.
How Versioning Works
A new version is created whenever you click “Apply Changes” or “Publish Changes”.
The first saved version is numbered 1, and each new version increases the number by one.
Autosaves do not create a new version—they simply store your progress as you write.
Viewing the Version History
The version history is available in the right sidebar of the article editor.
You can view older versions either within the backend or as a preview in the frontend.
Restoring Previous Versions
When viewing an older version in the backend, you can restore it.
Restoring will not overwrite the current version—instead, it creates a new version based on the selected one.
Language-Specific Versions
Each language version of an article has its own version history.
Versions are not shared or linked across languages.
This feature is available starting with the Team plan.
