User roles and permissions

Assign rights to who can access what

Depending on the requirements, different roles can be assigned to users. Below is an overview of each role and their corresponding access levels.

  1. Superadmin

    • Access: All areas

    • Note: The first user is created automatically with the first sign-in and assigned the Superadmin role. You cannot change a user to a Superadmin. For changes, contact support at support@helpspace.com with the username and email address of the new Superadmin.

  2. Admin

    • Access: All areas except billing and usage

  3. Agent

    • Access: Work with all tickets

  4. Team Agent

    • Access: Own and team assigned tickets only

  5. Author

    • Access: Docs section

  6. Billing

    • Access: Billing and usage only
