With HelpSpace, you can also connect a channel to your email inbox via SMTP. The advantage of this method is that no DKIM-Records and Return-Path need to be made with your DNS provider.
How to set up the SMTP Channel
Go to Settings → Channels → Channel and click Create Channel.
Enter the name and email address.
Instead of configuring DNS settings for DKIM and SPF, click on “Use SMTP instead of DNS verification to send emails” at the bottom of the page.
Configure SMTP settings
SMTP Host
SMTP Username
SMTP Password
Port
Security (SSL/TLS)
Test the settings
Confirm the settings to create the channel.
How to modify the SMTP settings of an existing channel
Settings → Channels → Channel and click Change Config.
Click Next
Edit the SMTP settings.
How to change to SMTP of an existing channel
Settings → Channels → Channel and click Change Config.
Click Next
